Location:       Vancouver, BC Type:             Permanent Full-Time Salary:           $55K – $60K annual base salary (depending on experience) Our well established client is looking to add a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join their Vancouver team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. Key Responsibilities ·      Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks. ·      Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. ·      Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts. ·      Prepare and post journal entries. ·      Assist with payroll processing and related remittances. ·      Prepare GST filings and other statutory reports. ·      Generate monthly financial statements and management reports. ·      Support month-end and year-end closing activities. ·      Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. ·      Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal staff regarding accounting matters.
