Job Title: Global Payroll Specialist

Join Our Team as a Global Payroll Specialist
Our well established Vancouver client is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to join their team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Global Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing Canada, US, and international cross-border payroll, including tax-related matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare Canadian and US payroll-related tax forms, waivers, and applications
- Perform monthly payroll tax calculations, including equity sourcing
- Coordinate payroll requirements for expatriate payrolls
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts
- Cross-train payroll team members with a focus on tax knowledge
- Take on payroll-related projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Tax Accounting, or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
- In-depth tax course is an asset
- Experience working with international payroll service providers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
