Job Title: International Tax Specialist 

Salary: $100 – $115K

Join Our Team as an International Tax Specialist

Our well established Vancouver client is seeking a International Tax Specialist to join their team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the International Tax Specialist will be responsible for managing Canada, US, and international cross-border payroll, including tax-related matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Canadian and US payroll-related tax forms, waivers, and applications
  • Perform monthly payroll tax calculations, including equity sourcing
  • Coordinate payroll requirements for expatriate payrolls
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts
  • Cross-train payroll team members with a focus on tax knowledge
  • Take on payroll-related projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Tax Accounting, or Business
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
  • In-depth tax course is an asset
  • Experience working with international payroll service providers
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible work schedule available
