Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Surrey, BC
Salary: $48K–$55K (depending on experience)
My client, a well-established CPA firm in Surrey, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with public practice experience who enjoys working directly with small business clients in a collaborative office setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping and year-end preparation (compilations)
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- File GST/PST and process payroll
- Support client accounting needs
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public practice
- Enrolled or interested in pursuing your CPA designation
- Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage 50, and MS Office 365
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
