Senior Estimator – Commercial Glass Industry
Location: Langley, BC
Salary: $135,000 – $150,000
Type: Full-time
Our client, a leading and growing company in the commercial glass industry, is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team. This role involves leading estimating efforts, developing client relationships, and ensuring accurate cost assessments for projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead estimating efforts from bid package to final review
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and suppliers
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment
- Review blueprints, conduct site visits, and attend pre-bid meetings
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate with project teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of estimating experience in the commercial glass industry
- Strong understanding of blueprints and architectural drawings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
