Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, CPA equivalent) with a BSc in Accounting and 8+ years of experience in audit, controllership, and financial management.
- Proven expertise in building scalable finance operations for early-stage companies, including purchase-to-pay, payroll, and month-end close processes.
- Technical leader in ERP implementation and administration (Oracle NetSuite), system integrations, and process automation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Unique career path combines Big 4 audit rigor (EY) with hands-on experience in fast-paced biotech startups (Alpha-9 Oncology, Symvivo).
- Skilled in financial statement close, internal controls, external audit liaison, and training non-finance staff.
- Proficient with Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Microsoft Excel, and process mapping tools like Visio.
