CEO and Manager

Tina Burke has worked as an accountant at the highest level in retail, banking and the service industry for over 10 years.

Since 1996 she has worked as a recruitment consultant specializing in finance and accounting.

In 2001 she started her own successful boutique Vancouver based recruitment company.

Tina has guided many careers in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Credit and Collections, Accounts Payable and Treasury.

A sample of the candidates that have been successfully placed by Tina are, CFO, VP, Finance, Director of Finance, Corporate Controller, Tax Manager, Senior Accountant, Junior Accountant, Credit Manager, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, Payroll Manager, Payroll Specialist and Executive and Administrative Assistants.  In 2005 Tina Burke was recognized by the Business in Vancouver Top 40 under 40. An achievement she is extremely proud of.

Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Partner

Surinder’s expertise is in recruiting, building relationships and coaching and training to grow leadership. Surinder has been involved in mentoring and growing teams with success. She has been successful in change management, job relocation services and transitioning to new systems. Surinder Kaila has worked as an Accounting Clerk, Paymaster, Employee Relations, and as a Human Resources Generalist in manufacturing for 17 years. In addition, she has experience as a District Sales Manager in sales for 8 years. Surinder has achieved a Bachelor of General Studies in Liberal and Business Studies from Simon Fraser University, completed a Diploma in Human Resources in 2019 and has her CPHR.

With a strong foundation in both digital strategy and technical development, Nasrin brings over a decade of experience optimizing digital ecosystems. At Burke Recruiting, she has led transformative initiatives—tripling social media reach and automating complex marketing workflows using Python, HTML, and platforms like Zoho. Her ability to merge data-driven insights with compelling content has elevated Burke’s digital presence and client engagement.

Nasrin’s expertise spans web design, SEO, performance analytics, and email marketing at scale, with hands-on experience managing campaigns for tens of thousands of candidates and clients. Whether it’s redesigning platforms for better UX or crafting high-converting content strategies, she delivers digital solutions that drive measurable results.

With over a decade of experience in finance, recruitment, and leadership roles across Canada, Ireland, Australia and Singapore, Pádraig brings a unique blend of financial expertise and people-focused strategies to Burke Recruiting Inc.

Pádraig has held senior leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer, where he developed and executed financial growth strategies that drove over $100 million in annual revenue. His background spans financial wealth management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational design.

Pádraig holds a Master’s degree in Business Internationalization and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the South East Technology University in Ireland. Passionate about empowering individuals, Pádraig believes that with thoughtful planning, guidance, and the confidence to act, everyone can unlock their full career potential.
