Job Title: Senior Accountant (Public Practice)

Compensation: $70K – $90K
About This Role
This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant who enjoys a mix of assurance, compilation, and tax work while supporting a diverse portfolio of private enterprise clients. You’ll take ownership of year‑end files, mentor junior staff, and deliver high‑quality client service in a collaborative public‑practice environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and corporate tax returns.
- Participate in planning and completing assurance engagements, identifying and resolving key issues.
- Support junior team members through coaching, file review, and on‑the‑job guidance.
- Communicate with clients professionally, providing clear explanations and value‑added insights.
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation (or successful CFE) with 2+ years of public practice experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASPE, assurance standards, and tax fundamentals.
- Proficiency with CaseWare, tax preparation software, and Excel.
- A proactive, organized team player who manages deadlines well and communicates with confidence.
