CPA & PCP – Experienced accounting manager with experience managing teams, full-cycle including financial reporting, budgets, cash flow, internal controls, leadership, audit and tax. Strong background supporting project-driven operations, cash flow management and senior level decision making.
(Ideal for Industry, Media, Projects, Multi-Entity environments)
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA Designation (CPABC) and Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification
- 15 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in media, manufacturing, and project-based environments
- Proven expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end/year-end close, financial reporting, and intercompany accounting for multi-entity organizations
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management (CAD & USD)
- Experienced in establishing and maintaining robust internal controls, process improvement, and audit coordination (external and CRA)
- Skilled in team leadership and development, having supervised and trained accounting teams
- Proficient in ERP systems: Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), D365, Syspro, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Advanced user of Excel, Jet Reports, and reporting automation tools
