Key Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA, Canada with Honors in Advanced Taxation and Strategic Financial Management
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, culminating in Director-level roles within large manufacturing/retail organizations
- Expert in full enterprise P&L management, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), long/short-range forecasting, and board-level reporting
- Proven track record in digital finance transformation, implementing systems like Anaplan and PeopleSoft to enhance planning capabilities
- Strong background in driving operational efficiency, cost optimization (delivered $30M+ in savings), and margin improvement strategies
- Experienced in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, integration, and establishing robust accounting policies and internal controls
- Skilled in advanced financial modeling, KPI development, and using analytics platforms (Power BI) for data-driven decision-making
