Masters in accounting and successfully passed CFE, with full-cycle accounting experience (including complex transaction management, and FP&A) in government, law and non profit. Passionate about process and self improvement, systems experience includes Sage, Netsuite and Quickbooks.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Master of Professional Accounting, University of Saskatchewan
- CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) Candidate, successful CFE writer
- 2+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience in non-profit and public sector environments
- Experienced in full-cycle accounting, including month-end/quarter-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Skilled in financial planning & analysis (FP&A): variance analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling
- Proven ability to design and improve financial processes, internal controls, and management reporting tools
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems including Sage, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
- Strong communicator with experience collaborating with controllers, department leads, and external auditors
