Overview
A well-established Vancouver organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & AP Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations, vendor payments, reconciliations, and general finance administration.

This is a confidential search for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a collaborative team and a hybrid work arrangement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing accounts payable invoices, including coding, approvals, vendor setup, and payment preparation.
  • Supporting accounts receivable, including recording payments, tracking receipts, and assisting with deposits.
  • Reviewing employee expense claims, following up on discrepancies, and ensuring timely processing.
  • Assisting with bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end support, and audit documentation.
  • Maintaining organized financial records, supporting data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Providing occasional backup support to the broader office/finance team.

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in a high-volume environment.
  • Good Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal professionally with vendors and internal team members.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
