Accounting Manager job in Coquitlam
$85K-$105K + 10% Bonus + 5% RRSP Match

We’re partnering with a growing industrial services company looking to hire an Accounting Manager for their Coquitlam office. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for someone with strong full-cycle accounting and job costing experience who wants to play a key role in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Controller, you’ll oversee full-cycle accounting and support operations with critical costing, budgeting, and financial insights across two active subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including month- and year-end close
- Prepare and analyze job costing (WIP, inventory, completed jobs)
- Reconcile budgets vs. actuals and investigate variances
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile key accounts
- Track fixed assets: additions, disposals, depreciation
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Collaborate with the head office on consolidations
- Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Qualifications:
- CPA designation (or in progress) preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience (Canadian experience preferred)
- Solid experience in full-cycle accounting and job costing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
