Job Title: ESG Reporting Specialist – 6‑Month Contract (with option to extend)

Salary: $55–$85 per hour

Our client is a globally respected professional services organization that supports major companies across industries with complex reporting, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. As part of their expanding focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, they are seeking an experienced ESG Reporting Specialist to join their team on a 6‑month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in sustainability reporting, enjoy working with structured disclosure frameworks, and want to contribute to meaningful corporate responsibility outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Support the preparation, review, and validation of ESG and sustainability disclosures
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation across environmental, social, and governance metrics
- Contribute to reporting aligned with recognized frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information and ensure reporting accuracy
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, risks, and regulatory developments
- Help maintain internal reporting tools, templates, and documentation
- Participate in project‑based assignments as required throughout the contract period
Qualifications
- Experience in sustainability or ESG reporting (required)
- Knowledge of ESG criteria, standards, or disclosure frameworks (nice to have)
- Background in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related fields (nice to have)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and data‑handling skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Experience in consulting or project‑based environments is an asset
