This role is ideal for an experienced public practice professional who excels in leading compilation and private enterprise engagements. You’ll manage client relationships, oversee file quality, and guide a team of junior and intermediate staff. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on work while providing leadership and technical direction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and review compilation engagements, year‑end files, and financial statements for private enterprise clients.
- Oversee working papers, adjusting entries, reconciliations, and file completion to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage client relationships, providing proactive communication and value‑added financial insights.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical development and ensuring consistent file quality.
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation with 4–7+ years of public practice experience, including significant compilation and private enterprise work.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASPE, compilation standards, and year‑end file preparation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, supervise staff, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency with CaseWare, accounting software, and Excel, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
