Travel: Up to 40% across Canada and the US

The Opportunity

Our client is a complex, multi-entity organization operating across North America and is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to support a high-impact internal audit function.

This role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, acquisitions, and governance. It is well-suited for someone with strong audit fundamentals who enjoys partnering with the business and presenting value-added insights to senior leadership. You’ll play a key role in strengthening internal controls and supporting strategic initiatives across a dynamic, growing organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Corporate Auditor Job in Richmond involves leading audits and presenting value-added insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead and execute financial, operational, and business process audits across Canadian and US operations
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments, testing, and end-to-end audit execution
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management with clarity and professionalism
  • Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including opening balance sheet reviews and integration assessments
  • Assist with internal control documentation, policy development, and best-practice sharing across the organization
  • Support compliance with corporate governance requirements and internal control frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Tax, IT, and external auditors during year-end and special engagements
  • Contribute to audit planning and periodic reporting to senior leadership and audit committees

What We’re Looking For

  • CPA designation required
  • 4+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a combination of both
  • Experience in a public company or complex, multi-entity environment
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, COSO, and risk-based auditing methodologies
  • Comfortable leading audits independently and interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and the US (up to approximately 40%)
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or acquisitive organizations is an asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
