Job Title: Controller
Location: Coquitlam, BC | Hybrid
Salary: $130,000 – $140,000 Base + 20% Bonus

Our client, a well-established and growing multi-entity organization operating across Western Canada, is seeking an experienced Controller to join their finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role supporting operational excellence, financial transparency, and continued expansion.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Controller will oversee the full accounting function including financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls. You will lead AR, AP, payroll, and general accounting while mentoring and developing a capable and committed team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys strengthening systems, improving processes, and building scalable finance infrastructure. You will play a key role in enhancing reporting accuracy, supporting data-driven decision making, and ensuring financial discipline as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation required
  • Experience in both public practice and industry is essential
  • 5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role

  • Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis capabilities
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Job costing experience is considered an asset
