This Assistant Controller opportunity in Coquitlam, BC is ideal for a CPA-designated accounting professional seeking career growth within a dynamic and expanding organization. Our client, a well-established multi-entity company operating across Western Canada, is looking to add a strong finance professional to their leadership team.
In this hybrid accounting role, the Assistant Controller will support the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Working closely with senior leadership and operations, this position plays a key role in strengthening internal controls, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in both public practice and industry who is ready to step into a more senior role. Exposure to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, along with experience in job costing and multi-entity environments, will be highly valued. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Located in Coquitlam and offering a hybrid work model, this role provides strong mentorship from an experienced Director of Finance and clear progression toward a future Controller position.
