Accounting Manager – Public Practice | $95K to $105K | In Office (Port Moody)

A well-respected mid-sized public practice firm is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead the team and oversee a mix of review engagements, tax files, and internal operations.

If you’re a CPA with management experience in public practice and enjoy mentoring a team while still staying hands-on, this is a great opportunity with long-term growth — including future partnership consideration.

The Role:

• Oversee and review client files
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate staff
• Handle review engagements and some tax planning
• Monitor workflow, deadlines, and client deliverables
• Oversee billing and assist with operational processes
• Use Caseware regularly (prior experience required)

What You Bring:

• CPA designation
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in public practice
• Team management or mentorship experience
• Proficiency in Caseware
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• A desire to stay long-term and grow with the firm
