A well-established and growing company in Burnaby is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead financial reporting, manage accounting operations, and drive process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial leader to make a long-term impact in a stable, expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Manage cost accounting, financial analysis, and variance reporting
- Lead external audits and risk mitigation efforts
- Mentor and manage a team of five accounting professionals
- Contribute to ERP implementation and process optimization
Qualifications:
- CPA designation (CA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years of financial reporting experience and 3+ years in a Controllership role
- Background in public practice or audit
- Strong cost accounting experience in high-volume environments
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities
