Title: Manager, Financial Reporting Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Salary: $110,000 – $115,000 Job Type: Full‑Time
About the Opportunity
This role is built for a CPA who wants full ownership of public‑company financial reporting without the grind of traditional busy seasons. You’ll lead financial statements, MD&A drafting, consolidations, and technical accounting for a portfolio of high‑growth, multi‑entity clients. It’s a high‑autonomy role with capital‑markets exposure, meaningful impact, and a clear runway toward future CFO‑track opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own quarterly and annual reporting – financial statements, MD&A, and disclosure.
- Run multi‑entity consolidations – clean models, foreign‑currency translation, complex structures.
- Deliver sharp analysis – balance‑sheet, P&L, trends, and red‑flag variances.
- Guide planning cycles – budgets, rolling forecasts, and leadership‑ready insights.
- Lead audits smoothly – audit plans, airtight support, and external auditor coordination.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (required)
- Strong public‑company audit and/or financial reporting experience
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Comfort with multi‑entity groups and technical accounting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- US GAAP experience, COSO Internal Control Certificate and Corporate income tax exposure considered a bonus
