Our client is a long-established, highly respected boutique public practice firm in Vancouver, known for its technical excellence, loyal client base, and collaborative culture. They’re seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex engagements and help shape the future of the firm.
What You’ll Do
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, private corporations, trusts, and partnerships on advanced tax planning strategies
- Lead and review complex compliance files, reorganizations, estate planning, and cross-border matters
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training and development
- Collaborate with partners on business development, client relationship management, and service innovation
- Play a key role in firm leadership, with a clear path toward equity participation for the right candidate
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation with extensive experience in Canadian tax
- Proven leadership in public practice, ideally with exposure to ASPE, IFRS, and trust structures
- Strong technical foundation and ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable advice
- Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program
- Thought leadership—whether through speaking engagements, tax groups, or published insights—is a plus
