A CPA PEP level candidate looking for a mentor property to progress in the CPA Program. Ideally looking to working in a residential property management. This candidate comes with over 2 years as a property accountant in addition to 5 years as an accounting assistant.
(Ideal for permanent, contract in property management)
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Program – PEP Level 1 (in progress)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), University Canada West
- Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting & Finance
- 6+ years of combined accounting and finance experience across real estate and healthcare sectors
- Direct experience as a Property Accountant, managing AP/AR, payroll authorization, and financial reporting for up to 50 properties
- Skilled in full-cycle accounting tasks: bank reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and month-end support
- Proficient with property management & accounting software: Yardi Voyager, Convida, Route Optics, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to support system migrations, improve AP workflows, and ensure data accuracy during transitions
- Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic finance team
