    Job Title: Junior Accountant
    Location: Vancouver, BC
    Work Model: In-office
    Compensation: $50K to $54K
    Our well established real estate client is hiring a Junior Accountant to cover a 18 month maternity coverage.  This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone with minimum of 1 year of accounts payable, accounting experience in addition to some post secondary courses/training in accounting. 

    About the Role:

    Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this position includes:
     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Preparing journal entries and financial statements
    • Data entry and bank deposits
    • Preparing year end working papers
    • Assisting accounting staff with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and Concur is an asset
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • $50,000 to $54,000 base salary
    • Extended benefits package
